Welcome!

Who am I?
Hi! My name is Uli (he/they) and I have been crocheting since 2017 when I realized what cool things - like amigurumi and dice bags - I could make. Before that, I had been knitting - learned that in 2009 - but mostly scarves and beanies.
In 2019, I met my partner, Linda, who has a lot of experience selling their jewelry at conventions and craft markets. They encouraged me to post about my craft projects and try selling them. We are based in Sweden and mostly attend events around Stockholm and Uppsala, but sometimes venture out a bit further.
As my day job, I work as a full-stack software developer, which explains why I set up this website mostly from scratch. If you are curious how I did that, I will likely write a post about that on my other website.
What is this website?
I have been bad at documented my projects, and now that I started selling some of them, I wanted to change that. So far I have added pictures of everything, I have offered at markets, and made price tags with a QR code to the page for each item. My goal is to add more information to those pages, including the pattern and yarn. Maybe I'll also add the background story, but I don't want to hide the info at the bottom of a long blog post. If I created the pattern myself, I will post it on a separate page. If there is a longer story, there will be a link to a blog post.
In addition to stories about my items, this blog will contain notes on my design process, as well as posts about the event I attend. I'm not looking to make much money off this blog itself, so there is no need to worry about it becoming overloaded with ads. However, once I start listing the yarn I used, I may include affiliate links to stores, but I will always give you a non-affiliate option. In the future, I may also start a Ko-fi account or something similar, if you wish to support me. I might start selling a few of my items and maybe more detailed PDF versions of my patterns online, but for now a market will be the best place to find my items.
My upcoming events are listed on the homepage. Until I complete this website, I will try to post on my socials occasionally, so feel free to follow me through the links in the footer.
